The Rites of Man
By Meg Bortin
ABOUT THE BOOK
Sherry McManus has a problem. She’s falling in love with Thomas G. Paine.
Tom Paine has a problem. He hasn’t published a book in seven years.
Sherry and Tom play a game in bed, telling stories as a prelude to sex. Neither can imagine that their romantic entanglement will upend both their lives and spark a national conversation on artistic legitimacy and the rights of women.
