ABOUT THE BOOK

NO SHIP HAS EVER LEFT THE SOLAR SYSTEM

NO PILOT WHO’S TRIED HAS COME BACK WHOLE

Bug and his Street Rats were born in Earth’s buried cities, where concrete ceilings suffocate dreams. When the Rats stumbles upon a capsule from beyond the Solar system, Bug’s faced with a choice: leave the device alone, or use its power to escape Earth. How could they refuse a chance to tour the Martian savannas, or taste fresh lunarmelon?

Turns out, space isn’t friendly. Three kidnappers, two betrayals, and one circus heist later, the Rats become trapped aboard the infamous Cirque Solar, where Bug must save himself-or his newfound family-in what becomes the universe’s most dangerous tea party.

Sol’s darkest mystery lurks within this circus. The capsule glows in its presence. Its light won’t reach the stalker hiding in Bug’s shadow.

Something has kept the Solar system locked shut. Perhaps that was on purpose. Whatever lies beyond has been hunting for a way in.
