Author Jennifer McTavish Wolf is passionate about reading, and visits a library (or two) at least once a week. She incorporates books into her art classroom as much as possible. Writing a children’s book has been a dream come true, especially now that her book can be found on library shelves. Jen lives in Wisconsin with her husband and two kids. When she is not writing or reading, you can find her painting, hiking and camping with her family, or playing handbells at church.

Illustrator Monique Machut is a Milwaukee based illustrator and graphic designer and has been working on children’s books since 2019. She loves creating illustrations that both children and adults can enjoy. Including diversity and a heavy focus on inclusivity in Amanda’s book, Treasures/Los Tesoros, was an absolute joy for Monique, and she hopes she can work on additional empowering stories in the future.
