Henry the kitten is scared to leave home!

Pushed by his mother, he goes out each day with a different one of his littermates and experiences the world outside his comfort zone, with no shortage of mishaps along the way.

Through Henry and his siblings’ playful journeys around the farm, we learn the benefits of being brave when you are scared and the courage each one of us has inside, even if we need a helping hand, or paw, to get to it.

Author Jeanna Krause is an illustrator who enjoys dabbling into writing. From rural Wisconsin and currently residing in Minnesota, Jeanna is inspired by the beauty of nature in the Upper Midwest, from rolling fields to soaring bluffs and babbling rivers. She hopes to inspire joy in others, young and old alike, with her artwork and stories.
