Ill Spirits

by Dan Krill

Folk music

Duration: 34:20

Ill Spirits is the first solo album by southeast Wisconsin songwriter Dan Krill, his first true collaboration with Ten16 Press, and only available on CD. Each song on the album has one or more guest performers playing everything from accordion to violin, saxophone to homemade box drum. The songs maintain a vintage folk vibe, enhanced with vocal harmony and free-form accompaniment. Altogether, fifteen musicians worked with Dan to create something eccentric yet tasteful, and reminiscent of a bygone era.
