Ten16 Press's first music offering!! Local musician Dan Krill performed at the open house for Orange Hat Publishing/Ten16 Press's grand opening of our present location, and we now have the opportunity to support him and showcase his new music in its beautiful CD format.
by Dan Krill
Ill Spirits is the first solo album by southeast Wisconsin songwriter Dan Krill, his first true collaboration with Ten16 Press, and only available on CD. Each song on the album has one or more guest performers playing everything from accordion to violin, saxophone to homemade box drum. The songs maintain a vintage folk vibe, enhanced with vocal harmony and free-form accompaniment. Altogether, fifteen musicians worked with Dan to create something eccentric yet tasteful, and reminiscent of a bygone era.
