Author and illustrator Laura Sprtel gravitated toward drawing, coloring and painting, and all things creative, from a young age. As a lifelong Wisconsinite, Laura has attended many Friday night fish frys—though she still hasn’t figured out the perfect tartar sauce recipe. When not dreaming up her next story, you might find Laura running, digging in her dahlia garden or exploring the great outdoors with her husband and two children. Fridays are for Fish Frys is Laura’s debut picture book.
